BFBloodOrange This is part of a series of posts on juices and unique drinks that I have come across. Everyone knows the Pepsis and Cokes of this world and many sites cover the wines and beers, but I am bringing to you the rest of the beverage world

I came across this Italian Soda on sale at Vince & Joe’s Gourmet Market in Utica, Michigan. What makes this drink different than your everyday pop or soda is that it contains some juice. The flavor I got on this day was blood orange, a popular flavor for an Italian soda. You could see pulp floating in the bottle of the long neck glass bottle. It’s a different flavor than most regular fruit flavored pops, that half the time you wouldn’t know the flavor if the label was missing.

3stars It had a unique flavor, not one I would be in the mood for on a daily basis. It wasn’t overly sweet, it had the tanginess of a blood orange. The amount of carbonation seem to be higher than most carbonated drinks I have had. Definately a nice change of pace from the ordinary orange soda pop.
