FAQ: Can You Make Applesauce in a Pressure Cooker?

Pressure CookerQuestion: Can you make applesauce in a pressure cooker?

Answer: Yes! It is a quick way to make homemade applesauce. Once your pressure cooker gets going it only take about 2 minutes for your apples to become mush, which is so much quicker than the slow cooker method. The first time I tried it, I used about 10 apples (5 Prime Gold, 5 Empire) along with some fresh cranberries for a little extra something. I like to keep the skins on my apples when making sauce and when I am done take the sauce through a food mill to remove the skins.
