What has become an annual tradition on Food Network is their Thanksgiving Live show. This year it aired on Saturday, November 23rd from 12-2pm with re-runs on Sunday, November 24th 12-2pm and 6-8pm. This show is about sharing recipes and answering questions from Food Network viewers. It’s a fun show each year that I look forward to watching. The Food Network personalities that appeared this year include Alton Brown, Bobby Flay, Giada, and Ina. The nice people at Food Network have posted the recipes that each chef will share during the show. I posted a link to each recipe below.
Alton Brown’s Recipes
Baked Macaroni and Cheese | This appears to be this original mac & cheese recipe from Good Eats.
Brussels Sprouts with Pecans and Cranberries
Cranberry Sauce | Another Good Eats recipe making another apperance
Bobby Flay’s Recipes
Mashed Potatoes with Smoked Paprika and Chives | I gave this recipe a try, the smokey flavor of the paprika was a nice surprise addition to your standard mashers and the color was a beautiful fall orange!
Country Bread Stuffing with Goat Cheese, Kale and Bacon
Roasted Turkey a la Tangerine
Roasted Shrimp in Cazuela
Apple Crostata | Can’t go wrong with a baked apple dessert, althought the last crostata I made that was Giada’s recipe did not turn out well.
Kale and Gorgonzola Salad
Thanksgiving Turkeys ! This one is for the kids. Giada takes candies and cookies and makes them into turkeys
Turkey Breast “Porchetta”
Roasted Figs and Prosciutto
Mushroom and Leek Bread Pudding
Green Beans Gremolata | I want to give this one a go, except I might find a cheaper substitute for the pine nuts.
