Today we have a battle between two classic soda pop makers: Nehi & Nesbitt's. Both of these brands bring back wonderful childhood memories for many. Both of these brands have been around since 1924. Both of these brands use pure cane sugar to sweeten their drinks. Both of these brands offer a peach flavored soda. Who makes the better peach? The major thing I look for in a good peach soda pop is a genuine peach flavor that isn't overly sweet and has a little bit of tartness to it, like a true peach would. So which of this sodas comes closer to this.
The winner: Nehi
Nehi tastes as close to a true peach than any other peach flavored soda I have had. It even has a fresh peach scent. Nesbitt's smells and tastes like carbonated peach gelatin. I found myself very disappointed with Nesbitt's here, it's really not much better than any store brand peach soda. And the carbonation wasn't as good as with Nehi.

Where to Buy
Both Nehi and Nesbitt's products can be purchased online from the Old 52 General Store. They carry over 300 varieties of glass bottled soda that you can purchase online or at their store in Sabin, Minnesota.

I haven't tried either of these yet. Actually, come to think of it, I haven't ever tried a peach soda. Looking forward to eventually trying the Nehi brand one. Sounds like something that would good on a hot, summer day.

You got it right on this one!! I tried Nehi Peach a few years ago (before the ban in CA) and it was absolutely the best peach soda I've ever tried. Nesbitt's Peach has a carbonation that doesn't work well with their peach. While their orange is pretty good, their peach suffers. I just hope that Nehi can come back into CA soon!!!
