In my search for new varieties of soda pop to try, I discovered Powell’s Sweet Shoppe in Laguna Niguel, CA. They are a chain of stores that sell all sorts of sweet treats. They are mainly a candy store, but they also offer a nice selection of glass bottled sodas as well as gelato. I saw several varieties I had not heard of before. Also enjoyed looking at all the different types of candy throughout the store. They have a lot of candy that was popular years ago. It’s a great place for a lot of people to take a stroll down memory lane. I think my wife had the coolest find. She loves Abba-Zaba candy. If you know where to look this candy isn’t too hard to find. The unique thing that Powell’s had was Abba-Zaba gelato. My wife said it was delicious! A fun time was had by all!
