Summer is time for fairs, carnivals, baseball games. It's where Americans go to get their fix of their favorite spun sugar treat - cotton candy. In the last couple years, we have been blessed with a way to get the same flavor without all the sugar. For this, you only have to go to your local grocery store. I would like to welcome everyone to the 2015 Cotton Candy grape season. Each and every year this grape has gotten bigger and bigger and this year the harvest will be the largest ever.
This past March I got the opportunity to tour the vineyards of Grapery, the growers of Cotton Candy grapes here in the U.S. I have new appreciation this year for all the hard work that goes into bringing this wonderful variety to the stores. If you want to read the whole story behind Cotton Candy grapes and other wonderful foods, check out the first edition of my new e-book series "Fruits of Their Labor" (Available for purchase on NOW!, click picture below)
Like, each and every year I once again have a listing of stores that are stocking Grapery grapes this season. These are the places to look. Call ahead to see if they have any in stock. Whenever I discover any confirmed sighting, whether via facebook, twitter, e-mail, the comment section below, I will update the list with the confirmed sightings. I hope everyone that wants to try them this year will be able to. The season runs from early August through mid to late September.
Wonder how they got grapes to taste like Cotton Candy, check out my answer to the question "How Did They Make Grapes Taste Like Cotton Candy".
Some of the additions to this list over my list from last year are the addition of the chain stores - Harris Teeter and Haggen. There are also more listing now in some of the plains state (Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota)
If you like Cotton Candy grapes, check out Bubble Gum plums - plums that taste exactly like bubble gum.

Donna Zabicki
I just tried your moon droop grapes!! They are fantastic!! I hope I can find them in San Antonio, Texas. Since I see your Cotten candy grapes are sold at some HEB's, I am hoping the moon grapes will be too!! Such flavor!! Worth the price! I found them in a commissary in Hawaii!! I will tell all my friends about all your new grapes. Aloha!!
Elizabeth
I have read about this amazing grapes and sadly no one around us sells them. I live in South Jersey, and there are no stores around. Please try to get Shoprite in Absecon, NJ to carry them.

When are cotton candy grapes coming to Rhode Island in 2016
Eric Samuelson
Cotton Candy grapes should be avaiable around or after August 10th, depending on when they harvest them. They are coming soon. There are a couple other Grapery varieties to look out for right now - their Flavor Promise line and their Tear Drop grapes.
