Book Review - Thanksgiving 101 by Rick Rodgers

    Published: Nov 16, 2009 Β· Modified: Mar 31, 2019 by Eric Samuelson

If you are looking for some help for your next Turkey day feast, then pick up Rick Rodgers' book "Thanksgiving 101". It covers all of the basics (turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc.) as well as new ideas to bring Thanksgiving flavors to your next holiday. It includes appetizers, beverages, soups, salads, several turkey recipes, stuffing & dressing, sides, breads, deserts, and what to do with all those leftovers (Turkey tacos?). The writer also includes some personal stories of Thanksgivings past including why he always has a can of cranberry sauce on hand. He also answers many of your turkey questions, so that you can enjoy the best bird possible on the big day. I think people young and old can glean some information from this book.
