    Calypso Southern Peach Lemonade

    Published: May 25, 2011 Β· Modified: May 19, 2022 by Eric Samuelson

Calypso Southern Peach Lemonade Over a year ago, I reviewed all the flavors of Calypso bottled lemonades. Or at least I thought I had reviewed them all. I discovered their Southern Peach Lemonade while looking for a bathroom at a gas station near Vince and Joe's Gourmet Market. Didn't realize my potty search would come up with a new Calypso flavor. Since Calypso reviews have done well on my website in terms of traffic, I definitely had to have this flavor (plus I was thirsty - very thirsty!). I thought my wife would like to try it too as peach is her favorite fruit by far. The best question about a peach lemonade is does it have that genuine peach taste?

As I opened the bottle, I let my nose have the first experience. It had a fresh peach smell. And then my tongue got to taste a geniue peach flavor. But it wasn't as good as I was hoping. It wasn't bad, it just didn't really knock my socks off. The peach flavor while natural tasting, still needs a bit more of a punch. I think with some fine tuning this drink could get a higher rating. Plenty of other people have commented that they enjoy it, so give it a try for yourself.

I love the Calypso bottled drinks. But most stores don't carry enough of the flavors. I think it's a high quality drink and the fact that sugar is used instead of corn sweetener gives it a lighter, fresher taste. I can't get enough of the Southern Peach Lemonade. It's the best drink I've ever had. You can really taste the natural peach flavor and the overall blend is perfect. The bottles are a good size for an individual portion. But I wish they made it in much larger bottles. I give it 5 stars.

Hi I never post on reviews but this drink, I LOVE!!!!! My brother discoverd it first at this shell gas station next to my apts, and ever since then I have been hooked! I'm planning a wedding and really want this to be my drink of choice, I'm down south and we love a good peach lemonade! Do any one know where I could possibly order in bulk, or a powder mixture to add water, any leads would help!
