    Thanksgiving Side Dishes

While the turkey is normally the star of the show, we can't forget about the sides. These side dishes have potential to steal the show.

    Potatoes

You cannot have a Thanksgiving meal without mashed potatoes. We have spend much time on trying different mashed potato recipes, like our No Peeling Necessary Baked Mashed Potatoes. Or you whip up a batch of Whipped Gold Potatoes. In case you are wondering, yes you can make mashed potatoes in the Instant Pot!

    Gravy

And you can't have the potatoes without the gravy. We love making it from homemade stock from the giblets and neck of our turkey. A gravy secret for you, add a little bit of Worcestershire and keep your warm warm with a coffee cup warmer.

    Veggies

We love Brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving especially if they have bacon in them! Carrots roasted in a stick of butter can't be beat.

    Stuffing

Technically we only make dressing because we don't put stuffing inside our turkey. Whatever you call it adding sausage and herbs is always a great idea.

    Cranberry Sauce

Making homemade cranberry sauce is just slightly more complex than opening up a can. Try out mulling spiced or ginger ale versions.

    Rolls

What important meal goes with some good bread. Parker House, butterflake, or pumpkin rolls are rolls we have made on Thanksgiving.

    Nice to Meet You,

Hi! I'm Eric : Father of 4, living just south of Ann Arbor, MI. I'm a reformed picky eater finding a new way to not conform. Eating what's in season is my jam (I also make it!)
