Doodle's Sugarbush Grade B Maple Syrup

    Published: Jan 5, 2012 Β· Modified: Jan 30, 2020 by Eric Samuelson

When it comes to adding flavor to pancakes, french toast, and waffles, the only option in our house is the real deal, maple syrup. You won't find any pancake syrup, full of refined sugars and high fructose corn syrup. If you spend your whole life drowning your breakfast in liquid that comes out of a woman's head, then you have been missing something. The real deal, maple syrup packs such a punch of flavor. It may come with a high price tag, but this is a case that I believe it's worth every penny. If we are out of maple syrup and can't afford to buy anymore at that time, then we just wait to have our french toast until we can.

Today, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite maple syrups - Doodle's Sugarbush Grade B Maple Syrup. In the world of maple syrup, the better syrup gets the "lower" grade. Syrup is graded on how dark it is. The darker the syrup, the more flavor it has. When you get to Grade B, the syrup even starts to possess a caramel like flavor. The one made by Doodle's Sugarbush is one of the best. It's does not have a watered down taste. The flavor is strong and complex. In this case, a little bit does indeed go along way. Besides being great used right at the table, the strong flavor would work well for candy making or baking.

Doodle's Sugarbush syrup is made from maple trees located near the small town of Blanchard, Michigan. They have been in business since 1998. Their products are available for purchase in local Michigan grocery stores like Busch's as well as available online via their website.
