This is part of a series of posts on juices and unique drinks that I have come across. Everyone knows the Pepsis and Cokes of this world and many sites cover the wines and beers, but I am bringing to you the rest of the beverage world.
This past Christmas, I was introduced to the Frostie line of carbonated drinks at Cost Plus World Market. I had not seen them since, until I happened upon them at Holiday Market in Royal Oak, Michigan. I knew there was a vanilla root beer flavor out there that I wanted to try and was excited when I found it in that store.
This drink did not live up to the hype. I loved all the other Frostie drinks I have had, but this one I only liked. Everything was just ok about it. The root beer itself was just ok, and the vanilla wasn't the highest quality. It had an artificial taste to it that really hurt the quality of this drink. Overall it wasn't undrinkable or anything, it still managed to beat out a lot of the mass produced root beers, but I probably would opt for another flavor next time.
