    Frostop Root Beer

    Published: Nov 30, 2009 Β· Modified: Apr 9, 2019 by Eric Samuelson

FrostopThis is part of a series of posts on juices and unique drinks that I have come across. Everyone knows the Pepsis and Cokes of this world and many sites cover the wines and beers, but I am bringing to you the rest of the beverage world

Whatever you are looking for in a root beer can be found in a Frostop. Frostop was a chain of drive-ins that began in 1950s. As far as I know there is still one location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, but there may be others I do not know about. Their speciality is their root beer. They caputred that taste in a bottle. It has a strong root beer flavor like what you would expect to come out of a tab. The bottle lists the price as $1.19 for a 1 liter, which isn't bad compared to some other premium root beers. It is not easy to find. According to the company website it is only available in 9 states and not necessarily throughout all of those states. It's made in Columbus, Ohio, so it's easier to find in that area of the country. I have seen at two stores in Michigan: Busch's and Kroger.

5stars This is my favorite root beer on the market. It produces a nice foam and has a flavor other root beers wish they had. It's the perfect choice for a root beer float.

    Nice to Meet You,
