(This is my 2nd review for a Meijer Gold product, check out my review on their Blood Orangeade.)
"Handcrafted by the Geyer family in France's Lorraine province, this original family recipe blends a natural berry flavor with the finest lemons." This is how the bottle describes this sparking lemonade. Coming in a curvy 33.8 fl oz bottle containing 2.5% real juice. The ingredients include carbonated water, sugar, natural flavor (including blueberry, elder, blackcurrant and lemon juices), citric acid, and sodium benzoate.
This has an interesting flavor unlike any thing I have ever had before (and in a good way!). The blueberry flavor is excellent and then you are hit with the tartness of the lemon. I think they did a good job combining the two flavors. They flow well together into your mouth. As with the Mejier Gold Blood Orangeade, I thought the amount of carbonation was a little much, but after being opened for over a day, I enjoyed it more. This is definitely better than the Blueberry Lemonade I had from the Jones Soda Company, which could hardly be called lemonade.
