I am going to take a wild guess here, but I bet most of you who are reading this have never uttered the title of this post. But my wife has. In fact she has wished that she didn’t get full so she could eat some more. So yes, there is actually a way to enjoy cabbage, you just have to know how to cook it properly. Cooking it all day along with your brisket on St. Patrick’s Day is NOT the way to cook it. You need to cook for a short period of time in water containing sugar and salt. The cabbage comes out with the perfect texture, beautiful green color, and the taste of good broccoli stems. Broccoil is actually in the cabbage family, hence forth the broccoli-like taste. I encourage everyone to give it a try. It’s good for you. It’s an excellent source to get Vitamin C. And it’s cheap. I can get it for around 49 cents a pound. More cabbage please!!!!
