Whenever I need a base for a soup or to add flavor to rice or vegetables, I head for the fridge and get out “Better than Bouillon”. I like this product because it’s easy to have on hand when a recipe calls for a broth. I don’t have to be concerned about having a can of broth in the pantry. I use the beef base for flavoring carrots or beef. I use the chicken base for chicken noodle soup. I use the vegetable base to use as part of a brine for pork chops. I have been able to find this product in most mega marts. You can even find it at Wal-Mart, which I found to be the cheapest (but they don’t have as many varieties). I find using this product is cheaper than can broth and better tasting than bouillon cubes (which are really just colored cubes of salt in my opinion).
