On Sunday, April 25, I planted my Round Romeo carrots seeds (click here to learn more about this type of carrot). On Thursday, May 6 I noticed that the carrots have begun to sprout. These carrots take 10-20 days to germinate, so at 11 days I did pretty good. As the seedlings grow, I will have to make sure they are about 3 inches apart. It can be a time consuming process, but one that is very important if you hope to harvest nice looking, well rounded carrots.
