It seems every soda pop company has to produce a Root Beer and an Orange Cream. You can judge a company on how well they do with these two flavors. I already reviewed Thomas Kemper Root Beer and it passed the test. So next up is the Orange Cream. This is how that company describes their orange cream : "Remember that goofy grin you got as a kid by using an orange wedge for a smile? Thatβs the feeling youβll get again with our tempting Orange Cream Soda. Blended with smooth Northwest honey and warm hints of Madagascar vanilla, it tastes like sun-filled oranges and cream. Hand crafted in small batches by brewers who canβt stop smiling."
This is a sweet orange cream that might be too sweet for some. The vanilla and honey add to a complex flavor. The carbonation is just about as good as it gets. I don't like it as much as the Frostop version, but it's worthy of a 4 star rating.
Where to Buy
I found Thomas Kemper in several stores in Southern California, including Stater Bros and Ralphs. I purchased my 4-pack at Big Lots in Mission Viejo, CA for the low price of $2.50.
You can purchase Thomas Kemper Classic Grape Soda online from the Old 52 General Store. They also sell my favorite orange & cream soda, Frostop as well as over 300 different flavors of glass bottled soda. Their physical store is located in Sabin, Minnesota.
