Never before I have seen people get so excited about fruit. Of course they should be. We are talking grapes that taste like Cotton Candy. What is not to love.

Cotton Candy Grape Confusion
Before we get into where to find the grapes this year, I need to clear up some confusion. People have been told that the season is already over for Cotton Candy grapes. That is not true, unless you are reading this in October, sorry you missed it. Each year now we are seeing more and more Cotton Candy grapes from Mexico. They arrive in June and last until maybe around mid July.
At this point grocery store employees are telling their customers the season is done. That is simply not true. A lot of the workers don’t realize there is a supply coming from California in August. Also there are some in the winter months as well coming from places like Chile and Brazil – although I have not found the quality to be good with those.
Cotton Candy Grape Season 2018
I do have a wee bit of bad news. The actual size of this year’s Cotton Candy grape crop is actually down from last year. You should still be able to find them but they wouldn’t be quite as plentiful. The good news is that in 2019, a new vineyard of Cotton Candy grapes will come into production and supplies will go up again.

Can You Buy Cotton Candy Grapes Online?
The only source I know of right now for online says is Fresh Direct. They mainly deliver in the New York metro area, but also parts of Nassau and Westchester Counties, New York; Fairfield County, Connecticut; Hoboken, Newark, and Jersey City; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Washington, DC (source)

Where to Buy Grapery Cotton Candy Grapes
The following is a store listing of stores that have carried Cotton Candy grapes or other Grapery grapes (like Moon Drops and Gum Drops) in the past. These are your best chances for grape finding success. Some of the biggest supporters of Cotton Candy grapes are Wegmans, Sprouts , Sam’s Club, Whole Foods Market, Publix, and the Fresh Market. Kroger has become a big Cotton Candy player now as well. If you got one of these stores nearby there is where I would start.
This list is meant to be for Cotton Candy grapes from Grapery. It doesn’t include grapes from other growers.
If I hear a store has got them, I will try to add them to the list under the confirmed heading. Keep in mind, stores often sell out – because they are that good. And they may not have a constant supply. Its best to call ahead of you are making a long trip.

For those of you who are from So Cal, in the Inland Empire, I found them at Sprouts in Redlands, CA this morning. They got 2 crates in this morning.
In Connecticut Price Chopper ( aka Market 32) has them in stock. Bought a bag in the Torrington store this afternoon!

As of September 17, I can confirm that Wholes on Westlake in Seattle has Cotton Candy grapes — as well as moon drop grapes! Both are Grapery brand.
I have been looking for some of these grapes for the last month. Only place near me that I know carries them is Harris Teeter. I actually went in today looking for some and they were out. Was told that they are not sure when they will get them cause they order them but they aren’t being sent. Wish I could find some!!
Your looking in the right place. Unfortunately the crop of Cotton Candy grape is very light this season and they just aren’t as readily available. The season is coming to an end here now. So unfortunately you may not be able to find any. In 2019, there will be a much larger crop as a new vineyard of them comes into production. Sorry for not having better news for you.

Bought my first Cotton Candy grapes at Harris-Teeter in Laurel, MD on December 13! These are fabulous!
Unfortunately they aren’t available to order online. At this time of year they are only available imported from other countries as the US domestic season is over.
No store can carry them consistently because they are only available at certain times of the year.

Kroger in Warner Robins, Georgia carries Cotton Candy Grapes! Of course, they do sell out pretty fast. We LOVE them!
