Peach Granita

Ingredients

  • 1 peach pitted removed
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup sugar

Instructions

  • Puree the peach in a food processor until smooth.
  • Add the water and sugar, mix to combine.
  • Put the mixture into a small, shallow metal container. Place in the freezer.
  • Every 30-45 minutes scrap the mixture with a fork until it is completely frozen.

Notes

You can use nectarines for this recipe as well. White peaches are possible as well but they tend to lack the acidic of a yellow flesh peach, so I don't think they make as good of a dessert.
