    Zuberfizz Key Lime Cream Soda

    Published: Apr 20, 2010 Β· Modified: Apr 25, 2019 by Eric Samuelson

    Zuberfizz Key Lime Cream Soda

The Durango Soda Company out of Durango, Colorado (makers of Coco Fizz Chocolate Soda) have crafted their Zuberfizz beverage line. Coming in a short neck bottle with a retro style label, these cream sodas promise that you will feel the fizz. The first flavor I got to try was their Key Lime cream soda. It was sweetened with pure cane sugar and contains vanillin.

2stars I really wanted to like this drink, but the aftertaste is what keeps it from being great. At first a nice creamy lime taste hits your tongue, but as it swirls around your mouth an artificial taste can be had. I thought the taste was similar to the Sonic Limeade Chillers available at Sonic Drive-Ins (except the Sonic Limeade Chiller doesn't have the bad aftertaste). For a drink that says feel the fizz, you would expect something super carbonated and this wasn't. Overall I think this was a nice attempt, that just feel short.
