Poke holes into the potatoes. Then add to your air fryer basket. Fit as many as you can without stacking them.
Cook at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until a fork pokes through them or they read over 200 degrees when you insert a thermometer.
For fluffier mashed potatoes, run the potatoes through a ricer or food mill, or push them through a sieve into a bowl underneath.
Add in salt to taste and at least half of the milk and all the butter. Whip them with a hand mixer for no more than a minute until smooth. If they seem too dry as you are mixing, then add in the rest of the dairy.
