Use a sharp pairing knife, slice the mushrooms in half.
Lay the mushroom with the cut side down. Now carve to holes in the mushrooms for eyes and a triangle for the nose. With your knife cut some slits into the stem. Repeat until you have done all the mushrooms.
Place mushrooms in your air fryer. Drizzle with oil and salt to taste. Don't crowd the mushrooms. They shouldn't be touching. You can work in batches if you need to.
Cook for 4 minutes at 375 degrees
Mushrooms will shrink and become golden brown. They are now ready for recipes or you can just eat them as it. You can store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
