    Americana Honey Lime Ginger Ale

    Published: Apr 7, 2011 Β· Modified: Apr 17, 2019 by Eric Samuelson

Americana Honey Lime Ginger Ale Honey, lime, and ginger ale. Three flavors that I never thought about putting together. The makers of Americana soda know better than me, so they did. I have tried several of their flavors and they have all been top of the line. So I was expecting the same when it came to their Honey Lime Ginger Ale. The ingredient list reads like this: Carbonated Water, Cane Sugar, Extracts of Lime and Ginger, Honey, Citric Acid, Natural Flavors, Sodium Benzoate (Preserves Freshness). It's always a good sign to see one of the flavors of a drink actually listed in the ingredient list.

Keep in mind here that honey is not the only sweetner. Cane sugar is listed as well.

5stars Americana has done it again. This is a delicious drink. All the flavors go so well together, giving this drink many dimensions of flavor. The lime and the honey make it so the ginger isn't too over powering. I have seen lemon and honey together, especially in cough drop form, but I think the lime and honey combo works just as well if not better. The ginger taste lingers in your mouth, more so than most generic ginger ales. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you love ginger ale, you need to give this a try.
