    Columbia Soda Works Sarsaparilla Soda

    Published: Mar 23, 2011 Β· Modified: Mar 1, 2021 by Eric Samuelson

Columbia Soda Works Sarsaparilla "Bringing back the taste of the Old West. Enjoy Original Columbia Soda Works Sarsaparilla. The flavor will take you back to the days of yesteryear when miners and settlers alike enjoyed the rich tastes of these early refreshments. A taste as rich as the Mother Lode". This is what appears on the side of a bottle of Columbia Soda Works Sarsaparilla Soda. I really enjoy a good sarsaparilla, but there are not as easy to find as root beer. So when I do see a new one, I make sure to get a bottle. This is the first time I have heard of this company. I tried to find out more about them, but the website listed on the side of the bottle only gave me an error message. This soda was sweetened with high fructose corn syrup.

4stars Yummy, this was very good. It has a good flavor, with a hint of wintergreen. It definitely tastes more like a sarsaparilla. I found some sarsaparilla really just tastes like a run of the mill root beer. Not this one. The carbonation left a nice fizz in my mouth. I wish I could find more about this company, see what else they have to offer or if they are even still in business.

    Where to Buy
I purchased mine at Straub's Fine Grocers in St. Louis, MO. This is the only place I know of right now that you can find it. If you know of anywhere else, please leave a comment below.

Actually, I do not think this soda is sweetened with HFCS anymore. Yaaaaay!
