    SunCrest Orange

    Published: Jan 10, 2011 Β· Modified: Jan 29, 2020 by Eric Samuelson

SunCrest OrangeToday we are going to look at a soda pop that will take you back. In 1938, the National NuGrape Company of Atlanta, makers of course of one of the best grape sodas out there, came up with an orange flavored drink they called SunCrest. Today the drink is licensed under the Dad's Root Beer Company, LLC.

3stars While I was a big fan of it's sister drink, NuGrape, SunCrest was just kind of "meh!". It tasted good and was enjoyable, but I didn't think anything really stuck out about it. It is better than most store brand orange sodas or anything Coke or Pepsi is turning out. It definitely beats out Fanta. But when compared in the glass bottle world, it's rather average. For me it's on par with Faygo Orange, but not to the level of Boylan. I am sure a lot of people enjoy the nostalgic feel of this drink.

    Where to Buy
Old 52 General Store I got mine through the Old 52 General Store's online store. They carry over 300 flavors of glass bottled soda. Their physical store is located in Sabin, Minnesota.
