Before I begin, this is my 1000th post!!!! Thank you for everyone that has read any of my 999 other posts. It’s taken 2 years to get to this point. How appropriate that this milestone post is concerning a company near and dear to my heart – Zingerman’s. I am currently working for Zingerman’s Bakehouse for the holiday season. I have been a big fan of the company for a while. They are dedicated to making and finding the best tasting food out there. One example of this is with their bacon of the month club, which was featured on an episode of the Food Network Show “The Best Thing I Ever Ate”. This show is all about Food Network personalities sharing with the viewers some of the best food that they have eaten, from resturants to local bakeries and candy shops. In this episode Iron Chef Michael Symon raved about Zingerman’s Bacon of the Month Club, from our Mail Order business. This club features several types of artisan bacon, including one of my favorites: Nuseke’s bacon. Besides the bacon you also receive a free magnet, bacon stories, histories, and recipes. Mail Order offers 3 and 6 month subscriptions. A lot better than most of those food of the month clubs, and I am not just saying that because I am apart of the company!

The co-founder of Zingerman’s – Ari Weinzweig has written an entire book on the subject of bacon. It has everything you wanted to know about bacon and even things you never thought about. I never thought you could write a whole book about bacon, but Ari showed otherwise.
