    🛒 Before You Checkout

What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

If you do decide to buy cheese curds at the grocery store here are a couple things to look for. Check the date on the bag. Some may list when they were made. That is most helpful. The date also could be just a best buy date. The further out the date is the more fresh the curds should be.

Also make sure to examine the cheese inside the bag. Most curds don't have anything added to them, so it is possible that they could turn moldy. There have been a couple times I bought them from the store only to open them up and realize they were not good.
