Episode 039 - Do Panko Breadcrumbs Go Bad?

In episode 039 learn about whether your breadcrumbs can go bad and what is the best way to store them.

    πŸ›’ Before You Checkout

What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

How much should you expect to pay for Panko breadcrumbs?

Most Panko comes in an 8oz box with the price being around $2 to $2.50 for the box. It's cheaper if you find a store brand or if you buy a bigger box. I do have to say that I don't think store brands are nearly as good.

Regular bread crumbs are cheaper in price, so if you are on a really tight budget, you can save money with the regular ones, but you will be sacrificing the texture in whatever you are using them for.
