    365 Cola Review

Published: Jun 1, 2019 by Eric Samuelson

    365 Caffeine Free Cola Cans

From 2013-2017 I worked at Whole Foods Market.

During that time I would on occasion buy a can of 365 Cola to go with my lunch or more often dinner as I worked mostly 3-11 shifts.

I first had this cola back in 2010 and reviewed it fro the blog then. I felt it was time to update that review with some new information.

What Ingredients are in 365 Cola?

What is actually in the Whole Foods version of cola? The ingredient list is a short one:

    • water
    • cane sugar
    • caramel color (which comes from the cane sugar)
    • tartaric acid
    • natural cola nut flavor
    • citric acid.

    Is 365 Cola Caffeine Free?

When I first had the soda, I was happy to try it as most colas contain caffeine and this one didn't. However a strange something I noticed in June 2019, a can of 365 that contained caffeine! I found the single cans in the refrigerated section contains caffeine. I was surprised.

What was really strange to is that in the soda section, I found these two different cans. Neither of them had caffeine in the ingredient list.

Two different cans of 365 Cola. I looked at the ingredients on both cans and neither contain caffeine.

What I think is happening is that they are now offering a 365 Cola version that does contain caffeine and one that doesn't. The old can design on the left, may or may not contain caffeine.

PSA - You need to look at the ingredients to see if you have an old can or a new one that does have caffeine.

    365 Cola Contains Kola Nut

There is debate whether Coca-Cola actually contains any kola nut anymore. It use to when it was originally invented. The actual formula is a tightly guarded secret. All we know is that Coca-Cola contains natural flavors - but that is so ambiguous it could be anything.

We know that the 365 Cola doe contain the flavor from the kola nut. In case you were curious, the kola nut is native to the tropical rain forest of Africa. No kola nuts being grown in Atlanta, Georgia! I would like to see what one looks like in real life some day.

Rating & Review of 365 Cola

So am I fan of this cola?

I actually am. I appreciate the good pure flavor. Since I don't drink anything with caffeine it's nice to be able to drink a cola and enjoy it. I know some former co-workers could not accept it, as it doesn't taste exactly like Coke or Pepsi.

The carbonation level isn't bad for a canned drink. Soda pop sold in glass bottles tend to have a better carbonation. don't have to be over carbonated to seal in the CO2.

Can You Order 365 Cola on Amazon?

As of this writing, 365 Cola was unavailable on Amazon. Maybe it's due to the change I was talking about above. If you find it back on there, leave a comment below.

      I'm intrigued...
I ran across an empty can of 365 caffeine free cola yesterday, after just stocking up on pop a few days ago.
I'm guessing this is going be one of those items, that when you contact the company they tell you that they are sold a couple of places nearby, but when you go to the place(s) you don't see it, and when you ask someone working there, they have no idea what you are talking about.
If I do find a source, any source, I will share my findings here.
