    🛒 Before You Checkout

What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

Today's tip is more of a before you head to the store kind of tip! If you are planning to buy a fresh turkey, make sure to clean out your fridge before hand. Do you have anything that is bad that needs to be tossed? Do you need to reorganize your fridge? You want to be able to get that turkey right into your fridge as soon as you possibly can.

It's also best to store it on the bottom shelf away from any other foods. It's not a bad idea if you can do it, to place it on a sheet pan in case the packaging of the turkey gets a hole in it.
