Looking for a quick way to satisfy the sweet tooth? The trend in recent years has been to make a mug brownie that cooks in the microwave. That's fine and all, but what I turn to when I need a quick dessert is a single serving fruit cobbler that I make in the air fryer. Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite fruits to use - fresh in season peaches.

Why Make This Recipe?
This is all about ease. This recipe is so easy to make. In fact I made it at a campground. I always have an air fryer in our camper as the RV oven is never reliable (plus ours is actually broken right now). It's also great because you can make a single serving cobbler, or double or triple the recipe to serve others. It's meant to be made with a single peach so it's very scalable.
One more great thing about this recipe is that it's not fussy and you can't really screw it up unless you burn it. My kids can totally make this and it's a great starter dessert to learn since there is no hard techniques.
Why use a white peach? Their sweet flavor means you don't need to add any sugar to fruit to enjoy it. Plus you know I bake a lot with yellow flesh peaches and I wanted to give it a chance.
Ingredients
Not a lot of ingredients here. 4 plus the cinnamon which is optional. We don't need to get fancy, let the fruit shine through. No reason to fuss it up.
Here is what you will need.
- 1 white peach
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅛ cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ground cinnamon (to taste)
There is no reason you can't use a yellow flesh peach instead. Or a yellow or white nectarine. Nectarines are often overlooked in desserts, but they certainly work just as well as peaches. They deserve to be involved in baking just as much.
You don't have need to use the cinnamon if you don't want to. I like to add it to the crumble topping just to introduce another layer of extra flavor. Ground ginger would be a great option as well. Ginger and peach are a fantastic combo (see my Peach Ginger Sour Cream muffin recipe for an example).

Instructions
Pretty simple to do. Grab a bowl big enough to fit your flour, brown sugar, and butter. You will need to get your hands in it to mix it up and have some room so it doesn't get all over your table or counter.
The key here is to rub cold butter into the flour and brown sugar. You want to be able to rub it in with your fingertips without it just melting so that is why it needs to be cold. It's done when you can't see the butter anymore and it looks like really coarse cornmeal. I look the rustic look so I like having smaller and large pieces. Your goal is to just get all the butter rubbed in.
Here is the best part of this entire recipe in my opinion, you don't peel the peaches. That's right. Don't break out the peeler, it's not necessary. I have not once mind the skin being there. It oftens up enough that it doesn't bother me at all. Also by keeping the skin on you have more color to the cobbler. See that color in the picture below.
Next you need to choose what type of vessel to put your cobbler in. Needs to be small to fit in your air fryer. I use a 4-inch small cake pan. It's the perfect size for a single serving. I can only fit one at a time in my air fryer, but I have one with two baskets, so I can do one in each basket if I want to make it two at once.
⏲️ Time & Temp - Air Fry at 325 degrees for 9-13 minutes or until the top has browned and the peach filling is starting to bubble.
You want to keep a close eye on your cobbler so that you don't burn it. It's also important than the top of it doesn't touch the heating element or you will have a burned topped cobbler.
Also it's important to leave the insert in your air fryer basket. This will allow the heat to circulate all around the pan.

Single Serving White Peach Cobbler in the Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 1 whole white peach
- 2 tablespoons cold butter cut into cubes
- ⅛ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ground cinnamon to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar and flour. Add the butter. Using your hands rub the butter into the sugar/flour mix until it’s the texture of very coarse cornmeal. Add cinnamon to taste.
- Slice the peach into slices. You don't need to peel them. Then arrange them in a small pan that will fit into your air fryer without the peaches hitting the top. Sprinkle the sugar/flour mixture on top of the fruit.
- Put into your air fryer at 325 degrees for 9-13 minutes or until the top is brown. If you want to check with a thermometer the filling should be around 200 degrees. The filling should be bubbling and have the appearance that it is jelling a bit. It won't be thick like jam.
