This post is sponsored by Noodles & Company.
What you are about to read are short reenactments of real life conversations that have taken place in my family (or in my head).
Reenactment #1
Oldest daughter - Do we have any shredded co-jack cheese to put on top of the mac & cheese?
Me - You mean like at Noodles & Company. I believe we do. Let me check the fridge.
Reenactment #2
Me - We should make pasta for dinner.
Wife - What about making Penna Rosa, like from Noodles & Company.
Me - That's a good idea. Let me look up on Pinterest a copycat recipe.
Reenactment #3
(While shopping at a grocery store outside of Cincinnati, Ohio)
Me (thinking to myself) - Hey, they have wide, fresh Udon noodles here. I should buy them so I can caramelize them, like the ones I get at Noodles & Company.
Reenactment #4
(While grocery shopping again at a local store)
Me (thinking to myself) - Sweet, they have Gochujang paste on clearance. I can use that to make my own Korean BBQ Sauce, like the sauce I get on those meatballs from Noodles & Company.
On this blog, I have talked endlessly about how Alton Brown influenced my cooking or how Zingerman's (a local business) has taught me about seeking out the best ingredients. There are many other sources that have impacted the food I make and eat that don't get the credit. I have come to realize that a restaurant has influenced my cooking. Noodles & Company, I have neglected you. Time to make amends. #RelationshipGoals
Lunch Spot for a Blogger
Even though I could work from home everyday, I do like to get out and go to the library to work on this blog. If I don't pack a lunch and I am not hitting up one of my hole in the wall places, I do have to say that I love to go to Noodles & Company. I know I can get a fast meal that won't be too expensive and consistently tastes good. Some of the menu items I order include Wisconsin Mac & Cheese, Pesto Cavatappi, Japanese Pan Noodles, Spicy Korean Beef Noodles, Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad, and Korean BBQ Meatballs.
Noodles Rewards App
As do most people, I enjoy saving money. I downloaded the Noodles Rewards app. For first timers, once you download the app, you will receive a notification that you can get $3.00 off your next purchase. Score!
Shortly after I downloaded the app, a notification popped up, saying I had a reward. Now when I pull up the app it lists my $3.00 reward, right underneath where it says Check In/Scan. I am able to use that reward if I make an order through the app or if I order right at the register.
Ordering Through the App
One of the things I like to do is order from the app. I can look at the menu and pick what I want without having to wait in line. I can apply any rewards I have right after I make my selections. Then pay using the app. It's really easy. And then I just have to show up at the restaurant and grab my food when my name is called or stand in the Pick Up line.
Noodle Days
When you're busy out doing your shopping this December or in my case, busy working on blog content, you might need somewhere to go to get a quick bite. I don't eat out much with my whole family but usually we have one day during the month where we are out all day shopping or doing activities. Noodles & Company would be a place we can go that everyone would be happy with.
Noodles & Company is helping with that this year this year with their Noodle Days, which runs from December 3rd through December 14th. What are Noodle Days about? #RelationshipGoals They want to be dated. They want to built a relationship. How do you do that? You get to know them, by checking in/eating there.
I know there are more dishes I haven't tried yet that could potentially be more inspiration for my own home cooking as I come to terms with my own relationship with Noodles & Company.
Every time you check in during the period, you earn these rewards:
Check-Ins, Reward
2 check-ins, $2 off
3 check-ins, $3 off a $10 order
4 check-ins, $4 off a $10 order
5 check-ins, $5 off a $10 order
Every time you commit to a meal with Noodles & Company you are getting rewarded. What a great relationship!
The rewards will show up 4 hours after you have paid for your order.
For additional unexpected fun, there will be special bonus days with surprise offers. You need to keep the notifications of the app turned on, so that you don't miss out on those. It's like an early Christmas gift! You never know what you're going to unwrap - unlike socks, which you can feel through the wrapping paper and you know you're about to get socks.
