Olde Rhode Island Molasses Root Beer

    Published: Dec 23, 2010 Β· Modified: Dec 2, 2019 by Eric Samuelson

Olde Rhode Island Molasses Root Beer Some drinks have longer names than others. The one I am reviewing today is a mouthful: Olde Rhode Island Molasses Root Beer. I heard some positive things about this root beer on another website, so I decided to give it a try. I probably wouldn't have tried it based on the label on the bottle itself as it is rather generic and boring. But I was intrigued by what a molasses root beer would taste like. I have had some unique root beers over the last year: butterscotch, one with cinnamon in it, and recently a clear root beer. How does this one stack up to those?

4stars The positive things said about this root beer turned out to be true. This is a really good root beer. It has a little bit of a foamy head and is a bit spicy, with a genuine root beer taste. The ingredient list doesn't actually contain the worlds "molasses" but it seems that this root beer is a bit thicker than most. Yet it is not syrupy. Maybe it's a molasses root beer because it's thick like molasses. Anyway, it's a good root beer that I recommend you trying out.

    Where to Buy
Old 52 General Store I got mine through the Old 52 General Store's online store. They carry over 300 flavors of glass bottled soda. Their physical store is located in Sabin, Minnesota.
