    What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

    One thing I encourage people to look for is sugar spots on the fruit. These are tiny white spots that you see normally on the bottom of the peach, opposite the stem side. These peaches are so sweet that the sugars are crystalizing on the outside of the fruit. When I see these show up, I feel good about buying a lot of those peaches.
