I was recently asked how I like to best enjoy honey. I started giving the answer that I liked it spread on some nice warm bread, then corrected myself to say that I best enjoy honey on a spoon coming right out of the jar.
Honey is an amazzzing food. Made my amazzzing creatures. And harvested by some amazzzing people.
To celebrate honey we are giving honey a HIVE FIVE!!!!
We have created for you a HQ for everything this blog has on the topic of honey.
Why Hive Five for Honey
We want to bring attention to the hard working beekeepers across this great country of ours. Beekeeping is a labor of love. Beekeepers have to work long hours, deal with variying weather conditions that are completely out of their control, compete against dirt cheap "honey" being sold at the grocery store, and not to mention the occassional sting. We want to give these beekeepers a virtual "Hive Five" for all the work they put in.
