🛒 Before You Checkout
What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:
Some grocery stores sell peppers by the pound and some by the individual pepper. Whenever you're paying the price for an individual pepper, look for the largest pepper you can find. Whenever you're paying by the pound, buy as much pepper as you're going to need.
Nearly every pepper in the store is from Mexico or a Canadian greenhouse. So there really isn't the best time to buy them unless you are sourcing them from a local farmer's market, or your store carries local produce.
