    🛒 Before You Checkout

What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

Try to buy green beans by the pound instead of plastic bags. While you will save a little time because these beans are often already snipped, you will not save money. They typically are more expensive and I find the quality is often inferior too.

Fresh greens beans are available in the store year round. However during the winter you'll want to be more picky when it comes to selecting them. They more often poorer quality and more expensive than in the summer months.
