    🛒 Before You Checkout

What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

Last year when I was out in California I found corned beef made from round instead of brisket. I had never seen that before. I tried it out to do a comparison and definitely will be sticking with the brisket. The Round did have a stronger beefy flavor but the tenderness and juicy of the brisket made too much of a difference for me.

Both were sold at the same price. Not sure that is always the case, but if it is for you, your money is best spend on corned beef made from brisket.
