    🛒 Before You Checkout

What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

When shopping for Honeycrisp apples, you may find apples that have block spots on them. This is mainly cosmetic thing and is the bane of the Honeycrisp grower. But I would have a hard time getting the kids to eat them, so I avoid them.

If they develop these spot at home and you cut open the apple and they still look fine you could still eat them or cook or bake with them.

If you like larger apples, by them by the pound. If you like smaller one, look for bags of Honeycrisp. Normally the smaller sized apples are sold in bags.
