Episode 047 - Why Make Mashed Potatoes in the Instant Pot?

    Published: Nov 16, 2022 Β· Modified: Apr 14, 2023 by Eric Samuelson

In episode 047 learn why you should make your mashed potatoes in the Instant Pot for Thanksgiving this year.

πŸ‘€ Read the blog post for the full recipe.

    πŸ›’ Before You Checkout

What you need to know before you checkout at the grocery store or market:

What is better to buy? Potatoes in a bag or potatoes by the pound? Often the bagged potatoes come out to be cheaper per pound. If you are looking for sales, you often see them more on the bags.

Now the disadvantage you face is that don't get to pick out the individual potatoes. Most of the time if I am making mashed potatoes I will just go with the bags. If I was doing baked potatoes, I like to get them by the pound so I can choose the size and shape I want.

Did you know you could also make a turkey breast in the Instant Pot? It's a great way to add more white meat to the meal or if you just want less turkey.
